Cancellation policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy forms part of the RhodoNest terms and governs date changes, cancellation of confirmed bookings, non-arrival and refunds.

Moving your dates is free until 7 days before arrival

With notice at least 7 days before arrival, you may change your dates once without a change fee, for a stay within the following 12 months, subject to availability and written confirmation.

The paid deposit is transferred to the new booking. Any increase in price is payable; a lower price is credited against the new stay. Further changes are subject to individual agreement.

Cancellation by the guest

  • More than 14 days before arrival: the advance deposit is refunded in full.
  • From 14 to 7 days before arrival, inclusive: 50% of the deposit, equivalent to 15% of the total price, is retained and the remainder is refunded.
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: the deposit of 30% of the total price is retained.

The amount retained is the cancellation charge and does not exceed 30% of the total price. Payments exceeding the applicable charge are refunded to the originating account within 14 days of cancellation.

Non-arrival

If you do not arrive and have not notified us, the accommodation is held for the first booked night and the remaining nights are then released. The deposit is retained, with no additional non-arrival charge. Any payment exceeding the deposit is refunded within 14 days. If cancellation notice is received, the cancellation periods above apply.

Early departure

If you choose to leave early, the confirmed nights remain payable. If released nights are rebooked, we refund the amount recovered, up to what you paid for those nights. This does not limit your rights where Dimitar Mitev fails to perform or providing the service becomes objectively impossible.

Cancellation by Dimitar Mitev

If Dimitar Mitev cannot provide the confirmed accommodation, he will notify you promptly and offer alternative accommodation or alternative dates, subject to availability. Any change requires your agreement.

If you do not accept the alternative, all payments are refunded within 14 days of cancellation. A refund does not limit any other statutory rights. The force majeure section of the terms applies where relevant.

How to cancel or move dates

To cancel or request a change, use the email or telephone number on the Legal notice page and provide the booking name and stay dates. Cancellation takes effect when notice is received and is acknowledged in writing. Date changes take effect once confirmed in writing by Dimitar Mitev.

Holidays and special packages

Different periods or conditions may apply to holiday stays and special offers. These are provided before the contract is formed and take precedence for that booking only where expressly agreed. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
